Article Correction, Retraction & Misconduct Policy

Machine Intelligence Research Labs (MIR Labs), Gwalior, is committed to maintaining the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the scholarly record. All post-publication changes are reviewed and approved by the Editor-in-Chief.

Erratum

An Erratum is issued to correct minor errors introduced by the publisher or during publication, such as typographical mistakes, citation errors, or author information. These corrections do not affect the scientific conclusions of the article and are linked to the original publication.

Corrigendum

A Corrigendum is published when authors identify significant errors that may affect the publication record or interpretation of the research but do not invalidate the overall findings.

Addendum

An Addendum provides important additional information that enhances the understanding of a published article. It is linked to the original article and may include editorial expressions of concern when necessary.

Republication

When major corrections substantially affect the methods, results, or conclusions, the article may be republished as a new version with a new DOI and a clear editorial note describing the changes.

Retraction

A published article may be retracted if there is evidence of plagiarism, duplicate publication, unethical research, fabricated or unreliable data, serious scientific errors, legal issues, or upon justified author request. Retracted articles remain accessible with a clearly marked retraction notice to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.

Research Misconduct

MIR Labs follows COPE guidelines in handling suspected research misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, and unethical research practices. Confirmed cases may result in manuscript rejection, correction, retraction, notification of authors' institutions, and other appropriate editorial actions. The publisher and editors are committed to preventing and addressing all forms of publication misconduct to uphold research integrity.
