Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers play a vital role in maintaining the quality, integrity, and credibility of scholarly publications. They are expected to:

• Maintain Confidentiality: Treat all submitted manuscripts and related information as confidential.

• Ensure Proper Citation: Verify that relevant literature and data sources have been appropriately acknowledged.

• Provide Objective Reviews: Evaluate manuscripts fairly, impartially, and without personal criticism.

• Offer Constructive Feedback: Support recommendations with clear, evidence-based comments to help authors improve their work.

• Report Ethical Concerns: Inform the editor of any suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, or other ethical issues.

• Recommend Relevant References: Identify important published work that has been overlooked by the authors.

• Declare Conflicts of Interest: Decline to review manuscripts where personal, professional, financial, or institutional conflicts of interest exist.

• Review Promptly: Complete reviews within the agreed timeframe or promptly notify the editor if unable to do so, allowing the manuscript to be reassigned to another reviewer.
