Machine Intelligence Research Labs (MIR Labs), Gwalior, is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing.

All editors, reviewers, authors, and publishers are expected to comply with these ethical standards.

Duties of Editors

  • Make fair and unbiased publication decisions based on peer-review reports.

  • Ensure originality checks and maintain a rigorous review process.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts.

  • Avoid conflicts of interest and misuse of unpublished material.

  • Issue corrections, errata, or retractions when necessary.

  • Follow COPE ethical guidelines and act on proven cases of misconduct.

  • Handle post-publication issues in accordance with the Article Correction, Retraction & Misconduct Policy.

Duties of Reviewers

  • Maintain strict confidentiality throughout the review process.

  • Evaluate manuscripts objectively and provide constructive feedback.

  • Identify uncited relevant literature and potential plagiarism or ethical concerns.

  • Declare conflicts of interest and decline reviews where conflicts exist.

  • Complete reviews within the agreed timeframe or promptly notify the editor if unable to do so.

Duties of Authors

  • Submit only original, unpublished work that is not under consideration elsewhere at IJCSNT.

  • Follow the journal's submission guidelines and participate in the peer-review process.

  • Ensure that all listed authors have made significant contributions.

  • Accurately cite all sources and provide authentic research data when requested.

  • Disclose conflicts of interest and funding information.

  • Correct or retract published work if significant errors are identified.

  • Obtain appropriate ethical approval (e.g., IRB approval) for research involving human participants, where applicable.

Duties of the Publisher

The publisher works closely with editors to investigate suspected misconduct, plagiarism, duplicate publication, or fraudulent research. Where necessary, appropriate editorial actions including corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions are taken in accordance with COPE guidelines.

To ensure long-term preservation and accessibility of published research, the publisher maintains digital archives and collaborates with trusted preservation services.
