Ad hoc network is a collection of wireless mobile nodes dynamically forming a temporary network without the use of any network infrastructure or centralized administration. In this work, an attempt has been made to mitigate hidden terminal and exposed terminal problems of MAC layer in MANET after the performance analysis of network on the basis of previous works. The performance differentials are also analyzed on high mobility of ad hoc networks.
