Abstract

Research works in cognitive radio networks mainly focus on spectrum sharing and sensing, and scheduling for single and multi-hop communication systems. Routing is an important issue in multi-hop cognitive radio networks and is responsible for the performance of a network under different network conditions. Recent advances have led to many protocols designed specifically for CRNs where different approaches are used. In this paper we present a review of various routing protocols for CRNs like CogLEACH, SEARCH, etc.
